 Degree Requirements:

HS Diploma or GED required  

 

Experience Required:

No previous experience required. Transitioning combat arms veterans and veterans from other fields who thrive in a fast paced production environment will excel at this job.  

 

 Position Description:

This position is in the Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati metro area.

Working with and around moving equipment; continuous handling of fine yarns, including fiberglass; exposure to high noise levels (hearing protection provided).

 

A MACHINE OPERATOR MUST HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS DAILY:

 

Stand/Walk on concrete surface for entire shift

Lift 22 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally

Good manual dexterity and speed in your hands & wrists

Good hand-eye coordination

Constant bending & twisting from waist

Occasional stooping; squatting or kneeling

Frequent overhead reaching and straight arm reaching

Overhead reach to a six foot height or greater

Push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.

Visually inspect completed work to ensure quality

Ability to distinguish colors

Speak and understand English to avoid safety concerns and prevent communication problems

Effectively communicate with co-workers about processes and procedures

 

 

2nd shift is 1525 to 2355 Tu-Sa or Su-Th

3rd shift is 2235 to 0715 M-F or Sa-W

Starting compensation base is $11.35/hour with a shift differential of $.75/hour for 2nd shift & $1.00/hour for 3rd shift. We also pay a premium for weekend days - $.50/hour if you work one weekend day & $1.50/hour if you work two weekend days (pay is for entire week worked). Once you pass your 90 day evaluation you receive a $.25-.50/hour raise (depends on where you complete the 90 day within the quarter). You will continue to receive $.50/hour every 90 days until you reach our base pay of $14.35/hour. By yourr one year anniversary you will be at the $14.35/hour mark with shift & weekend premiums on top of the base. (An employee working 3rd shift & two weekend days would be earning $16.85/hour at one year.)

In addition, we also offer a non-guaranteed company incentive based on our weekly on-time shipments& Waste. These two incentives can add up to another $1.00/hour.
